Swedish Nationals arrested in the Philippines for Cyber Sex Scandal
By Malibog Pokpok on May 12, 2011 | In New Facts
Two young Swedish guys were arrested in Cagayan de Oro for developing technical infrastructure for a cybersex site that would broadcast cybersex abroad according to media reports from local news and online newspapers.
Media reports from the past are conflicting as some speak about involvement of minors, while others speak about the number of 17 women between 18 and 25 years of age. While thousands of cams studios are owned by Filipinos continue to operate without any problems for it's owners, foreign nationals are either convicted or shot dead like it happened to two Dutch brothers in Cubao a couple of years ago. Don't you ever think about going to the Philippines to shoot porn or run live sex studios. It's a pure Filipino business and foreigners are not tolerated. No foreigners allowed. A clear message!
Even local Filipino officials do criticise this verdict as inhumane and silly because it forces those women into prostitution with low-paying Filipino clients while risking their health and life: http://philippineprisons.wordpress.com/2011/11/27/a-swedish-solution/
